What Life Would Be Like Without Electronics

Author's Note: In this piece, I wanted to explain what the times in the mid-nineties were like to our time now. There weren't different varieties of computers or phone that you can get like there is right now. Also, In this piece, I wanted to have a strong introduction that lead into my different body paragraphs. I wanted to write with a fictional narrative.  

Imagine that you are walking down the street. You are in a big city so there are quite a few people. They have phones in their hands, and headphones in their ears. Then in coffee shops and restaurants, notice how it says "Free WI-FI!". There are people inside on their laptops not even talking to the person that they are there with. Electronics are a great invention in this world. They are helpful to us in many different ways and styles, and if electronics didn't exist, the world would change.

We use electronics in many different ways. First of all, it is our way of communicating. We use them to call, text, email, send picture and videos, etc. Although, what if there was no such existence of them. Like in the early times when computers and phones didn't exist. Their way of communication was sending letters through mail, or just telling the message in person.  That would be a big change in every ones lives. You would have to walk place to place just to say hi.

Electronics do have a big part in communication, although that's not the only way they are used. People enjoy playing games, listening to music, and doing their work on different electronics. For instance, my dad goes to work every day with his MacBook Air. He uses it for email, spreadsheets, and other ways.  Another way people use electronics is to play games. We have iPods not only to listen to music on, but to go on Facebook or play the newest version of Angry Birds.

Electronics help us in many different ways through work and just for free time. In the 70's and 80's, there were computers that you could go on and land-lines that you can call people on, although it is different than it is today. We have cells phones that are smaller than an apple, and new and improved portable computers. Just think about, the world without electronics would change.
